The accordionist Ksenija Sidorova and the guitarist Miloš Karadaglić are brought together to celebrate the centenary of the birth of Astor Piazzolla, brilliant Argentinian composer. The faithful of the Theaters have already been able to taste the solar personality and the incredibly virtuoso playing of the latter. Throughout the world, both are today ambassadors of their respective instruments, defending an unfairly overlooked repertoire. From the Iberian enchantments of Rodrigo’s famous Concerto d’Aranjuez to the sweet languidness of Piazzolla’s Concerto Aconcagua , guitar and accordion compete in turn in brio and verve before marrying on stage in Piazzolla’s magnificent Double Concerto .
